Travis
custer.

Treasurer

Unlike many of the members of the VMA, Travis was never really much of a maker, but it was his interest in learning new skills that brought him to our organization. Originally from Berkeley County, WV, he attended Shepherd University before joining the U.S. Air Force to peruse a career in law enforcement. Upon the completion of his enlistment, Travis returned to the Shenandoah Valley where he now works as a Security Manager for the U.S. Army. He has also previously served as Secretary of the VMA for 5 years. When away from work, Travis enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and watching college football on Saturdays.

AMIE
CAVE.

Secretary

Raised in the Shenandoah Valley, Amie found a love for art and nature at an early age. Growing up, her mother taught her how to craft and sew and her father taught her how to be a jack-of-all-trades. She explored the outdoors and tackled any type of project she could get her hands on. Her love for old home restoration landed Amie and her family in WV, where she hones her skills in graphic design, branding, and storytelling. She serves as the Secretary for Valley Makers and handles branding and the website.
